Was I suppose to take the rotary intake valve out and then make my ramp with
the high temp putty? or was I suppose to leave it in and make the ramp inside
it? wouldn't it be a bigger port if it was out? I thought at some point
someone said to leave it in, so I did.

Make sure you remove the pin out of it. Chuck had one work its way out
and be ingested by the motor with a consequent off air port landing.

BTW since your engine is a six port with out extensive porting IMHO
you will be disappointed in the power.
