I also forgot to mention about assembling the engine
with
out e-shaft and rotors and pressure testing the
coolant
system to 30 psi to check for leaks. However if this
is done
right the large area of JB Weld bonded to the
vertical walls
of the water jacket make coolant leaks unlikely.

I believe in line 11 'oxidize' should be 'oxidizes'.

Also, the sentence that follows might be clearer to
some if it read 'Heat
the JB Weld tubes in 150 F hot water just before
mixing to reduce its
viscosity so it will flow into crevices.'

The teflon noted as 4" wide will not fit inside the
spacer which requires a 2.5" wide slide. This leaves
only .25" on the sides of the 2" holes. McMaster Carr
now stocks 12" x 12" teflon. Much more expensive.

Can't always keep up with changes that McMaster Carr makes.

3/8th Teflon is easy to cut with a hack saw, saber saw, sawsall or
wood cutting band saw.

The up side to 12" by 12" is there is enough Teflon to make four
slides. The cost per slide goes down. That does not do the
homebuilder much good but the cost per slide throttle is lower
if you are making four :) Perhaps we can talk Doc into selling
parts as well as complete slide throttles.
