With all of the above said, I hereby volunteer to be the RAA "Rotary
Evangelist," if you and the other gurus want to set this up I can do the
planning and be the pitchman (I've done this kind of thing before and
know how to make it work).

Funny you should mention that . . .it's going to cost some money to do
this, for displays, to rent space, and for "trinkets and trash" to hand
out.  That should mostly come from the vendors, but I guess we'll need
some donations from rotorheads as well.

Some support can come through the sales of t-shirts or hats, and I've
got a couple of ideas for a logo to use for them.  I've also got ideas
for ways to spread the influence over the whole show.

It's also going to need some volunteer effort ("Team Rotary"?) -- it
will take a minimum of three people to do the setup (one to talk and two
to turn wrenches).  There will have to be someone monitoring the engine
every minute, possibly even overnight (if we can get permission from EAA
to keep it running until failure).

We will also want everyone who is building or flying a rotary-powered
bird to bring them (even on trailers) or send photos to put in the
album.  With any pics we will need a written permission to publish and
distribute them.

I wonder just how long an overheated 13B will run?  Can it be coaxed to
restart (ether?) if it runs all day then gets shut down at night?
Anyone done the experiment?
