IMHO it is better to change the airplane :)

Changing the airplane isn't generally an option.  We need a rotary
solution in the 100HP 235 lb range of the O-200.  Most of the
experimental designs of the 1960s and 1970s used the O-200 (back when it
was common and cheap), and a lot of these planes -- THOUSANDS of them --
are now on the market minus FWF or with dead engines which will cost
more to rebuild than the asking price of the plane.  I know a guy who
has several of these planes and one engine that he swaps back and forth
between them!

While the perfect answer would be a smaller, all-aluminum-case 2-rotor
(which would not only kill off the O-200 but also the Rotax 914), the
price of one would be out of the range of many people.  A single-rotor
Mazda is the most cost-effective solution.
