I suggest instead "Aviation Rotary Alliance."

Since I'm the first (and so far only) member, that makes putting it up
for a vote fast and easy.  So moved, carried unanimously!  ;)

What's wrong with RA! for just rotary alliance? That way maybe we can even
get some of Paul's car guys to donate a part or maybe even a nickel or two;
or, at least show some of their stuff in your display; and, we can all be
very rah, rah about it, too.

"RA!" with the exclamation point?  That might work.

A Google search shows that the Rotary Clubs have a "Rotary Alliance"
project of some sort, and there is a racing outfit with references to
"Rotary Alliance," but if it wouldn't be confused . . .hmmmm . . .

Can you research this for conflicts?

I do like the idea of bringing in the car guys -- they have a lot more
resources -- but it seems to me that they are somewhat more competitive
with each other and don't really have much reason to promote WANKELS.
They aren't trying to prove the technology like we in the aviation side
are, and I'm not sure they'd be interested in pushing into aviation.

Remember, the whole goal is to open the eyes of the experimental
aviation community.  They -- WE -- need this engine, and we need more
people using it to make development and refinement cost-effective.

If the car people are interested, I certainly want to hear from them and
let's work together.

For that matter, if I had the resources, I would start developing the
Renesis as a replacement engine for cars such as my Crown Vic.  I could
get enthusiastic about knocking some weight off the Lead Sled and
getting more HP and reliability at the same time!
