If Mazda comes out with the 16B. you could make a one rotor that
could get 150 hp N/A using 16B parts. Yes/no?

I would say yes if it was a p-port.

BTW I was thinking we might get a group buy from Hurley
Engineering on cut down 13B e-shafts and counter weights.
Lets say the cost is $300 for those parts. Then you could build
an all aluminum (roughly 200 pound) one rotor p-port for about
$8500 with Tracy PSRU. 3,000 for the end housings, 1,000 for
new p-port rotor housing, 3,000 for the PSRU and a 1,000 for
miscellaneous stuff.

As long as the consensus is that a cut down e-shaft is plenty durable, I will
move my pledge here, because everyone likes to save a buck....

Now how can the rotor be lightened and what is the reasonable weight savings by
doing so?

If the back half of the e-shaft is good to 800 HP than
the cut down front half is way over kill for 10 HP.
Water pump, oil pump and alternator.

It is very expensive to lighten the rotor by 3D NC machine
and the weight savings are only ounces. Only important if you
are running it at 12,000 RPM.
