it seems to me this situation has taken on a typical engineering vs.
marketing dept. debate. engineering is selling specifications and
marketing
wants to sell a lifestyle. the engineer shows how the engine "takes a
lickin' and keeps on tickin'". marketing wants to only associate the
product with a smooth ride, trouble-free vacations, and sunsets. i
used to
work for mcdonnell-douglas and anheuser-busch. military guys like to see
things blown up and destroyed. beer companies prefer women (and big
horses), and sports to promote their products. i doubt that the engineers
and the salesmen will ever agree with one another, but here, simply, the
majority will rule. so are we selling beer, or F-15's (I date myself!)?
you don't sell the military with bikinis, or beer by blind taste tests.
which market are we in? figure that out and you have a starting point for
planning. kevin
That's it. We need a blond bimbo to build a rotary powered
airplane and show up at OSH.

I'm all out of blond bimbos.
I'd prefer a Filipina with black hair to her waist anyhow. This one
might actually be possible to arrange . . .
