The 6-port Renesis engine has two red injectors that reside in the
center housing ports, and 4 yellow injectors that reside in the intake
manifold ports.  Tracy recommends using only the 4 yellow injectors
with his ECU, but he didn't use the stock fuel rail or lower intake
manifold (1st two pix).

Does it matter which ports are used for the injectors?  On a Renesis,
it would be easier not to use the center housing ports as it requires a
second fuel rail, provided the 4 yellow injectors in the manifold would
be adequate.

Well Tracy should know what he is doing as the pulse width he
programs should match the injector he is using.
Each color injector has different flow verses pulse width characteristic.
However when you are not using the stock RX8 intake manifold (and you
are not) exact bets are off as each of the six pipes might
be flowing a different amounts of air. Also Tracy is using the
4 port low power RX8 motor and you are using the 6 port high power
RX8 motor. Therefore only four stock yellow injectors may not be enough fuel
depending on what the rest of your intake manifold looks like. I would start
with 25 inch long runners on all six. You are on the cutting edge
here. I think Ian Beadle in WA is also using the high power RX8 engine
and is flying.

BTW if every body used p-ports life would be simpler :)
