Is there anything missing? Improvements? etc.?

The Wankel rotary consists of a three sided rotor moving in a
modified oval chamber or rotor housing.

Instead of "... or rotor housing", use "... (called a "rotor housing")."
Doing so makes it more clear to non-native English readers that you are
defining a specific term, rather than offering separate alternatives.

It is also called a Roulette.

It is poor style to begin paragraph with a pronoun. :-)
Use "An epitrochoid is also called a "roulette"."

If you have ever seen a Roulette wheel in
motion at a casino you have seen a Wankel engine in motion sort of.

Ick.  This is a valiant, but ultimately flawed example. First, the
motion of the Roulette wheel and ball are multi-phased -- are you
referring to the phase where the wheel and ball are in counter-rotation?
The phase where the ball is bouncing madly around the wheel? Or the
phase where the ball is resting in a number tray on the wheel as the
wheel turns? Second, at no point in the operation of a Roulette table is
the motion epitrochoid. The ball never spins at a fixed point on the
wheel, with its surface "rolling" along the outside track (which would
be epitrochoidal). A perhaps better example would be to describe a
planetary gearset, or the old child's toy "Spirograph".

The gears inside the rotary are a means of  "timing"  the position and
orientation of the rotor.  This is very much akin to the way  "timing"
gears ( or chains or cog belts )  "time"  the position of the CAMshaft
in a
piston engine.  *** POWER is not transmitted in either case, only the
exact
POSITION is determined.***  This  "timing"  is necessary to put the
piston
engine valves in the proper place at the proper time.  In the rotary
this
"timing" is necessary to put the rotor in the proper place and
orientation
at the proper time.

I've already commented on the above paragraph earlier.  The timing gears
do not affect the position of the rotor, only its orientation.

Thanks Russell. I'll incorporate some of those changes.
I think we have to define position and orientation.

I never had a Spirograph. Planetary may be better.
If we put the teeth in people would get confused.
Basically every body has seen the planetary animation of the
rotary which does not seem  to allow them to understand.
I was looking for something more common.
Maybe both planetary and first phase roulette.
