What part of Japan are you in Ron? We have a guy
south of Nagano in Komagane building a SeaWind with a rotary.
He is out of the country until February.

Here is a map of the area. Doug's house is at the red dot

don't mind using  MS Paint and send it back. My wife and I are
talking about going to Japan again. The yellow line was our last

Please find attached a map showing Tokushima, Shikoku island in relation to
Kobe, Osaka and Nagoya. We live between Tokushima and Naruto (big red
arrow).
Nagano is a little further away than I thought!!! Friends had told me that
it is about a 5 hour drive, but they had a Porsche.
Still I will be driving to Tokyo in the next month or so, so I could do a
detour via Nagano.

Yes that is a fairly long way. Doug is about 45 minutes south of
Nagano so that will cut a bit off. We drove to Hiroshima from
Kayota in less than 5 hours as I recall. It is kind of tricky driving
in Japan as the freeways are named for the most part and not numbered.
The Boon had a moving map but it spoke Japanese so we turned
that feature off.

Here is a detail map of Komagane so you can find Doug'd house
when the time comes.
