was this engine ever installed and run in a car or airplane?
As regards torque, Paul, over the years you have made a "bogey" out of
that torque pulse for me!
It seems to me that the instantaneous torque pulse of each rotor (
which worries us) would be the same, but as the 6 is more equally
balanced and although it has a higher total torque figure, it would be
less stressful on the eshaft. After all, the drag cars side step the
clutch and drop 12-1400 hp onto that eshaft and it survives, 6 rotors
at 120 hp each make 720 hp, that is a walk in the park, right?
What a beautiful engine for a Reno racer or replica WW2 fighter.

appear the quintessential High Priest of Rotary :) please attach one

What is a general horse power rating for a stock 13B? I don't think I've
ever seen a number.

The real early ones 1973 had 135 HP with the four barrel carb.
Then the NA EFI units had 165 HP up until about 91.
In 1987 they came out with 182 HP single turbo. That one got just
over 200 HP in 1989. Early 3rd gens dual turbos got 255 HP in 1992.
In Japan that rose to 280 HP by 2003.
