This is my  attempt at a six opening slide throttle mounted on the lowerhalf of the intake manifold. I have some .032" teflon sheets that I will
mount between the base and slide. I will have the slide base tack weldedto the intake manifold and either alumabraze the rest or seal it with JB
weld. I am mounting a boss on each of the outboard intake tubes for
extra low pressure fuel jets distribution. If the dribble system doesn'twork out I can go back to the EFI.
   I cut the water pump hose barbs off at a 20% angle and made 15%
fillet pieces to angle the inlet and outlets down enough to clear the
inside of the engine mount and cowling.  Karibian

Are you going to have longer runners past the slide throttle?  If not,
why not just weld a plate on the cutoff lower manifold and build a
plenum with a standard throttle body?  This allows bellmouths and still
keeps a pretty low profile.  I've done this, but am still working on
some fuel rail issues so I can get some dyno results.
