What is your intended application?
Looks like a run of the mill infinitely variable gear
ratio change. Something similar is used in some auto transmissions
and the concept has probably been around for a couple of
hundred years. The universal problem with these drives
as it takes a tremendous amount of axial force applied
to transmit a significant amount of torque. Read heavy!
