1) What engine is that model? Is it 13B REW or Renesis?

13B. The RX8 eng is close to the same. The rotor housing might be
just a little too thick. the actual dimension on the rotor housing
is 3.153 inches and those are 3.219 as I recall.

2) How accurate is the model - height, width, length? How
accurate relative inlet and exhaust halls location is?

3) Oil sump? I would guess that original oil sump is less
high allowing for lower engine incar position? If so what is

(usually) of it?

Those are custom oil sumps. As I recall the RX8 eng sump is 1.5
inches deep. Here are some jpgs. That piece of wood it is siting on
is 1.75 inches thick.

4) I'd love to have engine mounting points location so I could
design the engine mounts. Is there any way that I could add them?
I mean their 3D coordinates relative to some point on the model?

The engine mounts varied from year to year. The RX8 mounts
are back on the center rotor housing. The easiest place, from
a car structural point of view is a engine plate sandwich with the
bell housing. Something like that was used starting in 1992
through 2003 in the third gen RX7. Here are three shots of the
current RX8 engine mounts. I don't have any 3D's on the mounts
as we don't use them for aircraft.

one more rotor housing and intermediate plate using those of
current 3D model? Will that be right dimensionally?

No.. the 20B has one different center housing.
The dimension on that unique 20B side housing is 3.153".
Everything else is pretty much the same.

Not accurate. Those are the old V type. They now use the multi V type
starting in 1992. diameters change from year to year.

different sizes.

Most of the questions I ask to be able to use this model to
package/route exhaust, cooling, turbo, intake, intercooling etc.
In fact I know close to nothing about rotary and turbo and its
piping etc. Can I ask for your help on this subject?

Sure no problem Ted. Ask away.
The stock RX8 high power engine with the six intake ports is about as
good as it gets for a normally aspirated car. That assumes you use
the complicated stock intake manifold design. If it were me I would
scrap that and use a turbo with ADI (alcohol & water) at boost levels over 3 to 4 psi
to forestall detonation with the high compression ratio RX8 rotors.
Cars are rarely called on to make a full power acceleration run so a
tank of ADI does not have to be that big.

Also BTW I would use a suspension mounted movable rear
wing in Russia. The automotive gov bureaucracy in Russia is not
that highly evolved to be against it like it is in the west.
