Which laptops/manufacturers are available without Windows? I intend to
install Linux RH Fedora 5 and I do not wish to enrich Microsoft by
purchasing their OS.

Here's a place to start...you can buy them with or without Linux
installed.  They knock off $50 if you want to install your own, and
there is no windows license fee (which most dealers usually add to the
price even if you get a system without Windows in it.).

Those are the bad guys. I bought one from them and I had nothing
