Bulent what happened to the fine looking prop
you built?

It is sitting pretty in white glossy paint on the shelf. Perry
designed it for my turbo installation, but I went NA. Ivo gives me
great flexibility during the initial testing. I like it. If the PP
performs as advertised, I may hang it on. But again I like to be able
to rev the engine to 7000 rpm on takeoff. My fixed pitch prop will
not allow that .

Paul, I never got to fly it. John Slade had some performance numbers
with his Performance prop.
He agreed to lend it to me to compare numbers. Turned out my Cosmo
engine was putting a bit higher power with the same stock turbo and
the same prop. After the first flight once around the pattern with
John's prop I was convinced the stock turbo is a great risk and too
much trouble, so I removed the compressor and used the hot section as
a muffler.
Worked and flew nice, But it was heavy. With the new muffler I saved
30 pounds weight and gained 200 rpm static.

Too bad. Maybe someone with a P-port or turbo pusher would like to
try your prop.

BTW I think Dave Leonard is on to the hot tip with the stock turbo.
TO4 parts in the stock turbo. Do you still have your stock
turbo? You could wait until Dave gets a few more hours on it :)
He only has 70 so far.
