Here are some shots of Tracy 20B 3 rotor engine in his RV8.
Close to flying. He is waiting for his Blue Mountain glass
cockpit. The roughly 12 inches long intake tubes are in the
large wooden plenum. The throttle body is an RX8 fly by wire!
IMHO scary :) He is using RX8 coils. He said the hot tip
for the GM V8 coils is the truck versions. I don't have a part
number yet. Those are the ones that have heat sinks.

Tracy lost these prop cuffs during a diving high speed pass.
He said they were worth 3 mph on top speed. He intends to install
them on the 3 rotor 3 blade prop. Tracy did not know what effect
if any they had on engine cooling.
This crude unfinished ram air scoop on the RX8 engined RV4 was
also a reduction in 3 MPH top speed. He intends to streamline it
like the old RV4 configuration shown in the first picture.
