They let motorcycles onto the highway (even in Germany).  Except for not
being very tall, I don't see this thing as being any more dangerous than
a sport bike.  Probably a bit better because it can have more widely
spaced headlights and the tail lights and turn signals can be mounted
higher.

I think it's a bit funny that Volkswagen built this thing almost
exclusively from exotic materials.  Doesn't seem exactly like a
"peoples' car" with that level of technology.  I guess this one wasn't
exactly designed for production..

ridiculously low acceleration and hill climbing ability.
