I showed Klaus Savier (Light Speed Engineering) my hangar neighbor
Doc's slide throttle and we had a little talk. Klaus tried something
similar on his O-200. He won't let me take a picture of it but here is a 3D.
However he used a thin piece of Teflon bonded to one side of the housings.
Ellison used a similar approach to their slide throttle carb combination.
In one or two cases the thin Teflon was torn or started separating
from the housings causing jamming problems. Ellison had to put out an "AD".

If you are planning on using thin Teflon bonded to the housing be aware.

Fortunately Doc uses a 3/8 inch thick solid Teflon slide so it is not
possible for this to happen.
