I don't know much about it. Just hearsay.
So I will let somebody with experience with it, describe
it for you.

It requires that you have both the EC2 and the EM2.  The EM2 has the
auto-tune feature built in that allows automated setting of the mixture
correction table for best mixture as a function of MAP.  When set in this
mode it adjusts the mixture to 'center' the range on mixture monitor driven
by the O2 sensor.  Faster and easier than making manual adjustments.
