   Hi Paul,
   I can't find my torque/power figures for the LeMans engine; what rpm
   was it getting max figures at?
   I'm thinking 1.75 in runners might suit our rpm better.

   There is a big difference in the port area.
   1.75 OD is is really 1.625 ID. Area is 2.07 square inches.
   2 inches OD is 1.875 ID. Area is 2.76 square inches.
   My guess is HP would be less than 200.

   I meant 1.75 inside diameter. That's only 1/8 inch smaller than the
   1.875 that you prefer. Area is 2.4 in^2, versus 2.76. Not a big
   difference.

2.4/2.76 = 87% .... 87% of 240 HP is 208 HP. About what Power Sport was
getting. Why bother p-porting if your only going to get 10 or 20 HP
more than a side port. I'll stick with the Lemans configuration.
IMHO not worth the few bucks saved on carbs.
