Compressed air seems like it might be a good alternative to batteries
in a car. How well would it work in an aircraft if the tank was
light enough? Are there Wankel air motors available?

The video is from two years ago but the company just announced
a deal with India's Tata Motors.

I had a CO2 powered model airplane when I was a kid. It flew for a minute
or two. I think it used WW II surplus May West life vest cartridges.

What they ought to build is a rubber band powered car. Rubber will store
more energy per pound than a battery. We could build a bunch of nuclear power plants
to power electric motors to wind up the rubber.
