BTW I did some further test on JB Weld by thinning it with 25% acetone
and it became very easy to pour. It set up but I can't vouch for the
strength as I did not test it. With a welded in SS P-port tube
we don't need the strength so sealing becomes its only function.

  For just sealing purposes there is these glue sticks that are made
for radiator repair that I think would work great, heat the metal up
with a torch and flow it in as if you are soldering and you could
fill the whole cavity with it, when it cools its very tough and would
add some strength also.
When building custom radiators I always seem to get a bunch of pin
holes and rather than fight them and take a chance of a blowout while
tig welding the pin holes I just plug them with the glue sticks.
I don't know the name of these sticks as I just pick them up at a
local radiator shop but I will stop by there and find out if you want.
