   further to my post in the past hour; how did Mazda install the Pport in
   the LeMans engine?

   I suspect they were sand cast p-port rotor housings the same as
   Mazda sold
   and still sells for racing use. The two housings on the left in
   this picture are Mazda sand cast p-port rotor housings.
   Expensive.
