Hey guys,
I'm on the hunt for any technical information, preferably from an SAE
paper, that has the X/Y coordinates for the inner, 16 tension bolt
through-holes on the Mazda 13B motors. Does anybody know if anything like
this exists? I'm looking to have some machine work done.
Thanks,
B
I have never seen anything like that Brian.
Paul Lamar ...No rotor no motor.
I have a new rotor housing on it's way from mazdatrix. When it arrives, I
will put it on the CMM and measure all the locations and publish a drawing
of the hole locations for all to use.

Larry,
You stole the words right out of my mouth, as to the best way to do this.
I have just done the same thing manually and you just can't get it as
accurately as CNC. I used Tracy's method of degrees and distance from centre
( for the BH bolts), but quite obviously his were done on a CNC.
Having you on board is going to greatly help everyone understand locations
of everything.
I didn't limit my locations to the 16 bolts but to all bolts - for instance
the 16 bolt locations are placed on two semi circles 113mm from a centre
circle which has a radius of 28.5.
The CAD degrees ( Taken from the RHS) are approximates-
11 degrees
60
77
95.5
118
136
154
177
203
220
222
239
257
275
295
310
345
The two lower bolt holes are RHS from centre 203.5mm at 318 degrees with
LDS 203mm at 222 degrees.
The stationary gear bolt positions are 62.5 mm from centre at-
40, 100, 160, 220, 280, 340 degrees.
The fixed pin is 64mm from centre at 0 degrees.
The BH bolt holes are182mm from centre at 49, 72, (101.25 Cosmo), 155, 195
( 180mm at 236 degrees) 314.5 degrees. However Tracy has degrees minutes and
seconds which are more accurate.
I also have the bolt positions of the Cosmo BH face plate - if needed
If all this info could be more refined and made available to everyone, I'm
sure it would help.
Hope my input helps.

Here is a dwg in english with an Al Gietzen type starter location.
