Hi Paul,
If it will help Larry to know dimensions of Tracy's g'box...at the mount
interface the ID=4.960, the OD=6.615, and the bolt circle =5.900
Since Larry's gone this far has he given any thought to including a
"snout" on the casting that could be simultaneously machined to
replicate Tracy's housing. One could then remove the internals from
Tracy's g'box and put them into the new bell housing. The only
complicated part of doing this is Tracy presses a bronze bearing about
midway in the housing that would probably not survive removal and
re installation. Otherwise, piece of cake, and you get a real nice,
although expensive, paperweight in the bargain. Perhaps Tracy would want
to come on board with this concept or even make the internal parts
available. Dave M

Dave and Paul,
Being integral it may help with strength as well, but then again may
complicate machining.
