I'm doing a 48hr burn in on the Megasquirt I just finished putting
together. The display is the Megaview, and the circuit board sticking
out the back with the knob is the Stimulator, which provides inputs for
testing.
The display scrolls engine parameters from right to left, and the second
button toggles static mode so that the display stops. The display's
buttons can also be used to change engine parameters, but this appears
to be an exceedingly tedious process. Much better to use the Megatune
software that runs on a PC or PalmPilot.
I should have taken pictures before closing up the box. Oh well, I'll
have to have it back open before too long anyway. The current state
reminds me of why they load down computers with blinking lights and
dials in the movies. They're just plain boring in their natural state.

Ernest,
Great going. Does Megatune have any data recording and visual display
functions. It would be nice in that we could make our own dyno as well as
our own graphic engine parameter display device using a small monitor.
