We talked about this a few years ago.  Since then the Eagle PD belt has
been made in larger sizes.  I've attached a PDF for reference.  I'm not
sure if you can buy sprockets in the ratio needed however.

We need a 12 inch OD sprocket. A 10 inch might be made to work.

I just finished a design using an Eagle PD belt to overdrive a
friction saw, it's a 2:1 overdrive w/ a 30" blade and a 50hp
3phz motor.. the belt is maybe 1" wide.. it's amazing how
much power these things will transmit.. and they are more
eff. than the standard timing belt due to the reduced noise
[reduced air movement issues] due to the herring bone design.

It's be interesting to see a reduction drive running one of these..
It might work very well..
