McMaster-Carr catalog no longer shows the "Vibration-Absorbing Neoprene-Isolate Rod End."
They are still orderable, though. Enter 6088k15 in the product search box and it will
offer them to you. The 1/2" size is now over $50! The 3/8" is still under $30. I
ordered some of the 3/8" and they said they will ship today. But the 1/2" only ship
10 days after receipt of order. So I suppose they are no longer stocking the 1/2" which
would explain the large increase in price and the delay.

I emailed them about this, and asked for the dimensions so I could model them. They
sent me the old catalog page with the dimensions. It is attached for future reference.

Anybody planning on using these should probably order them now while they are still available.

Since the thrust rating on the 3/8" is 140# and the weight of the engine on the rear
support is ~50#, is it acceptable to use the 3/8" variety?

Thanks for the heads up Doc. 3/8th will work fine. The load varies from - 50 pounds
while the engine is not running to +50 pounds at max prop thrust.
Also these rod ends don't break when you exceed the max load. The rubber just
bottoms out.

BTW here are some 3D's with your rad and the diagonals moved down on the nose
gear socket tube.

I did not put in the oil pan bracket for the rod end. I am waiting to see what
you come up with :)
