Are vibration dampeners normally used with belt drives?  Would they
be similar to Tracy's?  I have heard it said the belts naturally
absorb vibration but I am skeptical.   Paul,  in your spare time how
about knocking out a set of  belt drive plans--just to show what is
required.    :)    Jerry

I think you need one. Some of the coolest are found in the hubs
of off road motocross motor bikes. Here are some pictures.

I think they are present in MOST bikes wheel hubs.

At least these are, in my two (litre class) sport bikes.

OK here they are again. How many hours do you get out of your belt Yvon?

The photos came in fine Paul, I am still flying with the original belt,
196 hours flight time and a lot more ground running. The belt still
looks in excellent condition.
