I think Tracy is using .098" in section diameter which is too
large.

As to questions about the O-rings themselves, I don't have the time
or
willingness to disclose every specification, process, material, etc
that
goes into the products sold on my website (what company does?). If
this
bothers you, my advice is not to buy them.
As to Brian's complaints in earlier messages on the subject, I'll

"Defective o-ring"? Are you guys just completely ignoring everything
I'm saying or what? As I've stated already both in emails to Laura
as
well as what I've posted here and in NoPistons, just *one* of the
motors
I wrote about and posted pictures of had ALL FOUR o-rings splitting!
That's excluding the (now) 7 other engines I know of that are
showing
symptoms due to the same damn problem!
LOOK AT THE PICTURES! THEY ALL SHOW THE SAME
PROBLEM!
And this snide comment about my time frame -- First off, it wasn't a
full
3 years that I used the o-ring kit. Secondly, when I became
suspicious
that the o-rings were the cause of the symptoms I was beginning to
see
in the summer of '06, I *discontinued use in Sept '06* as I've
already
written to Laura in an email (twice). Besides, even if I did

Spark plugs don't come with directions
Paint doesn't come with directions
Gaskets don't come with directions nor exhaust pipes, mufflers,
starters, etc. etc. You either know how to install/use or you learn
how. You did not learn how to use/install the product. You made a
mistake. I for one am tired of listening to you try to blame someone
or everyone else for it.

an installation issue. The question so far unanswered is; Were they
the
right section diameter?

Have you read the post on NoPistons.com by chance? Not only will you
see that I've had issue with several engines (all of them producing the
same
failure mode), but you'll also see that I'm not the only person who's
having
that same failure mode as well. I didn't make any mistake on this. Look
at the data, sir.
Be sick of me all you want. You don't have to listen to me if you don't
like,
but I'm the one who has the convenience of being able to pull over.

B,
have you any pictures of the O-rings as the engine was taken apart? I
mentioned the possible problem caused by using a sealant like
silicone, or even a non-hardening sealer like Ultra-Grey. (case sealant
for motorcycles) The O-ring groove is pretty small. any sealer could
cause hydraulic lock resulting in splitting. I am not advocating for
either side here just trying to cover all the bases.
