Looks more like a Savauro to me, just like the ones I got. It' a blower
cooled generator engine. Built to run at 3600RPM.

Yes. It is the Israeli rotary Duncan was playing with.
It was designed for a throw-away generator used by expeditions. The rotor
housing liner is steel with no coating. Side housings are bare aluminum. The
intake is one side port, the exhaust is in the rotor housing. It is air/oil
cooled with the oil cooler in the blower stream. I ran the first one back in
'99.I don't have any pictures at this time. I remember someone in the group
reported about doing duration testing, with the result of wearing the engine
out in about 100hrs.

BTW was the side housing anodized?
