I went to Oshkosh on Monday morning. I did not find it very
interesting. I hung around the Zenith exhibition until I could think
of no more questions or photos to shoot. I looked in at Mistral.
Beautiful design and production. But by mid aftenoon, it was a
yawn and my feet hurt. So I headed back to the motel. Later that
afternoon I teamed up with someone I had met online who had a CH 701
on floats. We flew it off a tiny lake to another lake and then
another and then followed a river snaking its path. We landed
everywhere and never got above 300 ft . I loved every second of it.
We were about 40 miles west of Oshkosh. Next morning I gave away my
Tuesday Oshkosh ticked purchased the day before and headed back to
Indiana. My head was full of flying but it had nothing to do with
Oshkosh. Jerry
There's just nothing to compare to floats is there Jerry .
