Now I can't wait to machine them up! I will load test one, and them
destructively fail test it to see what it's ultimate strength is. If all
look good, we will build production tooling.
Next casting will be an aluminum water pump housing that is lower profile,
and will mount dual 55 amp alternators. The entire set up will provide the
security of dual alternators and weigh less than the stock cast iron part.

Move it down low Larry as that is one of the problems with the stock
pump. When the water gets low in the block it starts to cavitate and it
destroys
the pump housing. Kind of dumb for Mazda to put it up so high. Probably
an out growth of the old engine driven rad fan.

The RX8 and 3rd gen pump are much lighter than the old cast
iron cartridge version.

We built some remote pumps for the second gen pump cartridge. Did not sell
all that well. People won't spend money unless they are forced :)
