If this will help anyone, I have several of these 20Amp 12volt
    alternators that were removed from band new Isuzu engines and
    replaced with
    24 volt units. They weigh 4.5 lb and have a built in regulator and
    are the
    same brand as the JD units that were mentioned in a earlier email.
    Your cost
    anywhere in the US (lower 48 only) $138.00 at your door.
