I am a little disappointed it is not wireless. It is perfect for a cockpit
engine parameter display and or running moving map software. Hard drives
don't do well at high altitudes. It will interface to a PICAXE directly
using terminal software built into Linux.

You're wrong - it comes WITH wireless and Ethernet networking built in,
and a modem for networking the hard way.
