Looks like they were too big as bmp. I changed them to jpg. Should come
through now.

The trigger was on Channel A (yellow). I have adjusted the display so
zero volts on A is ~1 division up and B is ~1.5 division down so the
traces can be viewed independently.

The trigger delay (TD) is 278 mS (display starts 278 mS after the
trigger event). The time base (TB) is 200mS per horizontal division. A
channel is 2V per vertical division (VA). B channel is discussed in the
next paragraph. Sample rate (FS) is 4,000 samples per second. I don't
know what VC and VD are, and the manual doesn't say. If I have a
criticism of the bitscope it would be the documentation.

The B channel probe was mistakenly set at X10, so the vertical scale is
500mV per division, not 50 as shown on the display. Even so, the output
is less than 0.5 volts. Also there appears to be no correlation between
the two signals. The A signal should have two pulses per rev, the B
signal should have 24 if my understanding of the RX7 CAS is correct. All
this leads me to believe that this particular CAS is defective.

Great info Doc. Thanks. Looks like you will need a one shot
to condition that stuff.  You can take the gear off and run it in
a drill press.

I think it could be defective. You will need another one for a comparison.

Anybody got a spare CAS they can loan Doc for R&D?

I've scoped several CAS, haven't seen a bad one yet.
Have you checked for a bad connection?
Any filtering going on?

IIRC, the 2 tooth wheel signal is inverted.

A cordless drill also works, although I usually just hand spin the thing
to verify functionality.
