Subject: Buy or build?

I talked to Mike the engineer at Vortech.
Big company. They also own Paxton.

He said all you need do is change the spring
and you can get the fuel pressure down to 0 PSI
at zero manifold pressure absolute. Super simple mechanical
fuel injection. Here is the chart.

What say you Larry? Should we buy or build?

Paul,
Just sent you one from procharger that you can check out.
We can decide then. But sure makes more sense to use this for a simple
injection system. We just couple it to a mechanical pump driven of the
eccentric shaft.
Larry

If you are going to do that we don't need the pressure
regulator. Fuel would be a straight line function of RPM.
Then we would need some way of leaning it. Sounds like
a Kinsler system.
