My 15 psi gage arrived late this afternoon so I din't get to finish the
test. The #52 drill bit I used yesterday did not flow enough so I
progressed through #50=3'37 seconds, #49= 3 1/2 minutes, #47= 3.3
minutes which gave me a little over 18 gals per hour so tomorrow I will
settle on the #46 which should give me 19-20 gallons per hour at 3psi.
All the drill bit shanks measured .002-4" more than the drill chart
diameters.
I need to increase the taper on my needle valve as it slowed the
max flow down in the full open position. All the previous testing was
done with the needle valve removed.
As you can see, in the attachment, the setup was quite crude but
effective. Karibian
Do you have any fuel pumps for sale Hurant? I am looking for
a high pressure roller vane at a good price for testing.
