        Can you tell me what the ID'd are for the rotor bearing and
   stationary
        gear bearings? I am also curious as to how the "Guru" needle
   bearing
        attaches to the center housing. I see the snap rings and the
   note of the
        machining requirements.

        I assume you have the shop manuals. The recent shop manuals
        give the diameters in the technical section at the end of the
        manuals. The 13B journals diameters are 43 mm mains and
        74 mm rotor journals. The clearances are given in the front part
        of the manuals in the Inspection/Wear section.

        As far as the Guru center main roller bearing attachment
        is concerned my guess is it is pressed in. All I have are these
        pictures.

   The Guru unit requires machining the center housing for the BRG and
   snap
   rings.  Then the brg outter race is turned down to match the housing
   (they want minimal material out of the housing).  It's not something I'd
   put in a plane...  It's for high boost and high rpm race engines.  I
   doubt anyone here is looking for a 15 hr TBO!

   Sounds like drag racing. Why would anybody put in a center
   main if it reduces the TBO from 2000 hours to 15 hours?
   Does not make sense.

I doubt it's the center bearing that reduces the TBO, but RPM,. boost,
and thermals that does it..  The TBO would probably be even less without
the center bearing...

Well yes of course but why put it in the context of the center main
bearing? Color me confused.
