   Tom,
I haven't heard from you in a loooooong time.  How's your ES.  Last I
heard it was down for a new gearbox.  Will you be attending the Lancair
fly-in in Fredricksburg, TX this year?  Fredericksburg is within my 100
mile radius, so I should be attending, even if I'm still in the 40 hour
test period.  I would love to see your installation and ask you a few
   questions.

   Mark,

The good news is that my ES just came out of the paint shop.  I'll
   forward a
photo when I get the plane back together (flight controls, fairings,
   etc.
   were painted separately).

I've got a few mechanical details to clean up.  The exhaust manifold
   flange
is warped slightly, and must be ground flat.  I tried to fill the
   gap with
red RTV, but no luck.  It is pretty noisy.  Then I've got some duct
   work in
the engine compartment, and a condition inspection to do.  So, no, I'm
afraid I won't be at Fredericksburg.  I'll probably be stretching it
   to make
   CopperState in late October.

   Tom

Tom,
Yes, please post a picture when you get her back together.  I assume
your cooling is in the green?  How many hours do you have on it now?
I'm afraid that mine will be flying in primer for a while, but at
least she's no longer a hangar queen.  ;-)

Mark
