Might the plasma cutter cut all  the way thru the tubing?
There are numerous tubing notchers...try Aircraft Spruce, Mittler  Bros,
Low Buck Tools - ask any fab shop.

Hi Yogi,  all the tubing notchers that revolve (grinders, mills, hole
saws)  are a waste of time. I have tried all of them.  The best was a
milling table set up on the lathe very accurate, but slow to set up.
Mainly I am trying to get away from feathered edges which often will
burn back in welding.   A commercial tubing nibbler which would do
the job would run nearly $3000.00.  I am trying to do the same with
what I have on hand.   Jerry
