The video of the Reciprosaur innards is interesting.

I'd love to see someone build a visible Wankel.  It would be easily
done, just replace the end plate with a chunk of armor glass and cut
notches in the water galleries for cooling.  I dunno how long it would
run, but it wouldn't have to go more than a few seconds to have a really
useful video.

For that matter, a little work would make it so that it could be run
repeatedly for demos.  No load, low RPM, run it on really clean fuel . . .
