The Copperstate Fly-in starts in nine days - Thursday, Oct 25th thru
    Sunday, Oct 28th. I plan to be there on Friday and maybe Sat, depending
    on who is going to be there. I will be driving from Tempe. Anyone want
    to meet for lunch or go to Al Gietzens' Forum on his 20 B?

    I've never been to this fly in. Is it worth an eleven hour drive
    from Texas?
    I would like to look at AL's 20B. When is his forum?

    Bob,

    My answer is it's an awful long drive for one or two good one hour
    forums.  Of course I'm 73 and siting that long would kill me.  Too
    bad you can't find someone that's flying in to share a ride.
    Hopefully there will be some rotary powered planes to dissect.  Al's
    forum is scheduled for Friday at 1pm and Saturday at 4 pm.

    Weather plays a BIG role in attendance at the Copperstate.  It seems
    that the West Coast pilots don't like to come if it's too hot, too
    cold, or just a little overcast along the ocean.  I know, I'm a 3rd
    generation Californian exiled  to Arizona.
