It was designed for a 2nd gen turbo engine which is getting kind of rare.

I have one or two left. It is not really suitable for a non turbo
engine as the HP will be limited. Most engines available today are six port
engines. IMHO the best thing to do today is make a p-port engine out of a six port
engine such as the RX8 or 16B. That lowers the cost of the manifold, raises
the power and burns slightly less fuel. It also takes advantage of the
high power to weight ratio possible with a rotary engine.
