Hi Paul,  this Spitfire engine mount is very like our S Beam, rear beam
mounts.  Photos taken by my wife's Uncle.  English of course.    jerry





    Took these pics. today. Front end of our Spitfire that is having a
    major overhaul. The dummy engine is just that, a dummy. It serves
    for the moment to run services around the newly painted engine
    mount. It is a MK 9 Spitfire which did service in the 1939/45
    argument!! Bit bigger than a homebuild, same problems though. Can't
    always work out how things fit, even though there are shed loads of
    sketches, photo's and drawings.
