How many numbers in your Renesis  serial number ??. I can make out part
of two numbers where they were apparently ground off. Second question:
Can acid bring out stamped numbers , in some cases, like it does in
steel ??
Did anybody else, who bought the Australian engines, have this problem

My Renesis has six numbers, very clear, it is a brand new engine out of
Miami Florida.  Sorry can't help you with the acid question.

If the numbers are ground-off, stamp your own on. All it is, is a record for
the documentation.

It's easy to fill out the form.  Just write "N/A" when they ask for things
that don't matter or don't exist.  With the FAA all you have to do is make
sure the Ts are dotted and Is crossed.  It's not legal until the paperwork
equals max gross and it's nothing but filler after the first 30 pages
anyway...
