Paul
I have heeded the advice those wiser than I and purchased a Renesis
engine to replace the 20b. Got a good deal but the engine is missing the
water pump and intake manifold so I'm short a couple of injectors
otherwise the engine is in mint cond. How's Larry getting on with the
new front cover with water pump and alternators.
I need an engine mount designed if you have time.
Met with David McCandless at Serpentine Airfield last weekend, looked
over Don's plane (first time I've actually seen an installed rotary).
What a great bunch of people down there.

I am glad to hear you guys got together. Did you see Ian Beadle's airplane
as well?
I have not heard from Larry recently so I think he has his hands full with
the bell housing and the money-making/paying-the-bills part of his
business.
BTW Doug is going to check the 16B bell housing bolt pattern dimensions at
the Tokyo
Motor Show to see if it will fit the current RX8 bell housing.
Dave Lemon of Mazdatrix assured me the second gen front cover and water
pump
will fit on the RX8 motor. We will run that on the RX8 p-port dyno engine
in the coming weeks.
I will work on your Lightwing Speed 4000 motor mount design this week.
Here are some pictures of Serpentine for those that have never been there.
The people shot is Dave, Aden, Don, Ian, and me taken at the flying rotor
head dinner.
The air shots were taken from Dave's beautiful Stinson.
Paul Lamar ...No rotor no motor.
Are are some 3D's the dimensions will follow.

Here are the dimensions. Probably too expensive to ship an entire motor mount
to Western Australia but a lot of these parts can be bought from
Jerry Hey.
