I also spoke with a engineers at NSK plugs and he showed me the new 10mm
sized long neck plugs. He said they are currently working on a 12mm size
plug for the rotary and it will take a few years before it is in production.
I see that Rotamax engine has the same idea as what I would like to do on my
engine. That being two plugs side by side in the leading area. Trailing plug
is stock with far trailing still up for discussion.
Stress in the leading plug area leading to a crack across the housing are
concerns of course. Smaller diameter plugs may help eliminate it. Running
the engine at reasonable power ratings may be wiser. I believe the crack
housing were from drag racers
