   Here is a low cost light weight landing camera for the VTOL tilt rotor.

   Would work on regular airplanes as well if it were pointed
   at the mains.

I think it might also be useful to have a distance sensor driving an
audio feedback system.  Beeping pattern indicates distance from ground.
Few beeps at 50 ft, a steady tone at 4 inches from touchdown.
